Post Magazine: "Winlow quits as Zurich MD
Zurich has announced that Mark Winlow, managing director of its UK Personal Lines business, has decided to leave the organisation. In a statement from the insurer, zurich said neither the company nor Mr Winlow will be discussing the terms or background to his decision to leave.
Ian Stuart, chief executive officer of Zurich's UK General Insurance business, has confirmed that he sees no necessity to replace Mr Winlow, who joined Zurich from financial services consultancy, A T Kearney, in January 2004.
Instead, in addition to his CEO responsibilities, Mr Stuart will take a more direct role within the personal lines operation himself, having run a similar business during his time with Eagle Star Ireland.
Neither Zurich nor Winlow were available for further comment."
