Insurance Age: "Imarket to offer discounts on email marketing
Imarket will soon be offering brokers discounts on an email marketing service after teaming up with Enabler, the e-marketing service. This means that from late September imarket brokers can buy cut-price branded emailers, surveys and other marketing communications.
Enabler said the facilities offered to brokers would include the ability to create, personalise, send and then track the success of branded emails, briefings and surveys, with 'negligible' cost.
Peter Knowles, imarket's strategy and marketing director, said the Enabler deal would be one of many such offers available to brokers to give the portal added value and selling points.
He said: 'This is the next important addition to a range of services we have planned for the imarket community of brokers. We are also using Enabler internally and are impressed with its wide capability.'
In other developments, NIG has joined imarket as an insurer member, saying its IT development was underway, and stating that it hoped to be integrated by the end of the year. The small and medium-sized enterprise products it plans to launch include one for motor trade, which it said was not currently available on the portal.
- Allianz Cornhill has followed hot on the heels of Groupama to launch live products on the system through software house Acturis's broker platform. Allianz's first live product was its Complete Retailer contract, with more in the pipeline."
