Last night at the eleventh annual British Insurance Awards, which took place at the Royal Albert Hall, Groupama Insurances received the highly coveted �E Business Award� beating off fierce competition from L&G, HSBC and Confused.com.
E-Commerce Manager, Ken Hutchinson received the award on behalf of the company, watched by over 1000 guests � including Managing Director, Fran�ois-Xavier Boisseau and various senior representatives from Groupama.
Groupama Insurances was also �highly commended� in the sought after �General Insurer of the Year� award, losing out to the eventual winners, Allianz Cornhill.

The winning company in this category needs to demonstrate success in generating profitable new business and enhanced customer service through the effective use of information and communications technologies.
