The Insurance Fraud Bureau has announced the appointment of Sue Jones as head of unit with effect from 23rd October. Ms Jones will be leaving her role as head of counter fraud at Royal Bank of Scotland Insurance, to take up the position.
John Beadle, chairman of the IFB, said: �Following a rigorous selection and interview process, I am delighted to confirm Sue's appointment and welcome her to the team. As Head of Unit, Sue will be responsible for the leadership and day-to-day operations of the Bureau and the management of its staff. With her experience, technical expertise and profile in the insurance fraud arena, she will enhance both the effectiveness and reputation of the IFB.'
Ms Jones said: �I am delighted to take up this exciting opportunity at such an early stage in the IFB�s development. I�m looking forward to taking on the challenges that the role presents and to building on the excellent results achieved to date by the IFB, working with colleagues from right across the industry and beyond in the co-ordinated effort to combat organised fraud.�
