NIG today announced the departure of its director of commercial lines, Lyn Carslake. His decision comes months after his fellow commercial boss Charles Earl quit.
In a statement NIG said it is currently engaged in the planning stage of a corporate reorganisation, details of which will be made public in the near future. 'Succession plans are in place to ensure that Mr Carslake's departure will not lead to any disruption of services in the commercial business area,' the insurer added.
NIG Managing director Charles Crawford said: 'We wish Lyn every success with his plans for the future. Whilst his constant enthusiasm and passion for the business will be missed, he has built an accomplished and effective team who will continue to develop this important part of NIG's broker business within The Royal Bank of Scotland Group.' "
