UK. World Duty Free (WDF) Head of Liquor and Tax Free James Prescott is leaving the company. He will join Whyte & Mackay on October 1, replacing Director Travel Retail Andy Lane, who has left the Scotch whisky supplier.

Prescott is working a notice period with BAA before joining the drinks company. WDF confirmed his departure, saying the process of finding his successor was underway, with an appointment expected by the end of September. Prescott has been with WDF since April 1999.

Lane told The Moodie Report he was looking to pursue other opportunities in the travel retail market. He left Whyte & Mackay at the beginning of August. "
