Insurance Age - Broker Network reaches 150

Insurance Age - Broker Network reaches 150: "Broker Network reaches 150
The Broker Network has secured its 150th member, 11 years after its formation.
The two most recent entrants are Gordon Blyth (Insurance) of Paisley, and Reid Hamilton & Co of Lancaster.
The Network said it meant it was on course to achieve 200 members by the end of 2008, with ceo Grant Ellis believing they had set the benchmark for similar organisations.
He said: 'To achieve 150 members is a fantastic milestone for the business which demonstrates 10 years proven delivery and that we have set the benchmark that others aspire to.
'Since Broker Network was established in 1994, we have built solid foundations and developed a sustainable network model. The range of benefits has grown and includes dedicated underwriting teams with the UKs major insurers, a fully authorised Lloyds broking facility and our own underwriting agency. This is alongside the extensive HR, regulatory compliance, IT and marketing support offered to Members.' "
