Software Solutions Partners has acquired commercial insurance broking system provider Sectornet.
SSP said the acquisition of Sectornet, when combined with its existing electRa and INSIGHT commercial lines customer bases, now makes it number one in the commercial broking system market.
CEO David Rasche commented � We have strong ambitions in the large commercial broking solutions market where our INSIGHT product is already becoming established in the UK with customers like Willis, Towergate and Layton Blackham, this acquisition will add a further 16 of the Top 50 brokers to our customer base.
'With its high quality products, high quality customer base and experienced staff, Sectornet will help us to expand more quickly in the commercial broking solutions market where we see a great deal of future opportunity.'
The deal involves SSP taking over all the personnel and resources of Sectornet which will continue to trade from its head office in Marlow as a separate business unit within SSP�s corporate broker division.
