The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), Financial Markets announces the appointment of Junko Kawada as Head of eCommerce sales Japan.
Junko will be based in Tokyo with responsibility for increasing the distribution of RBS's Financial Markets electronic products in Asia. In this regard she will be working closely with Michelle Neal, Head of Fixed Income eCommerce, Rates and Credit based in London. Junko was previously at Deutsche Bank where she headed up their eFX sales and marketing activities.
Junko will report to Tom Picard, Head of Financial Markets Asia Pacific Sales and Marketing on a local basis and to Tom Roche, Head of eCommerce and Integrated Treasury Solutions, on a global product basis.
Commenting on her appointment, Tom Roche, said: 'As eCommerce becomes a core part of our distribution process in Financial Markets, the need to support our sales and market development efforts in Tokyo is of paramount importance. Junko's appointment will raise our aspirations for the business in Asia and accelerate our eCommerce drive in the region.'
