TheMoodieReport.com

TheMoodieReport.com: "UK. Airport operator BAA has launched an updated version of its successful website, www.baa.com.

In addition to the revamped www.baa.com, BAA has also introduced individual airport websites and domains for each of its seven UK airports London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London Stansted, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Southampton. So, for example, passengers can now log on to www.heathrowairport.com or www.stanstedairport.com.

The www.baa.com site focuses on communicating corporate information for shareholders and other stakeholders, while the airport sites are specifically designed with the traveller in mind.

The development builds on five years of extensive research and learning from the previous site, which received over 21 million visits and served more than 95 million page impressions last year. A target of a +30% increase in visits has been set for the coming year.

The ultra-modern website features a streamlined design and upgraded functionality with easier navigation. The traveller-focused airport sites host a wide range of free and up to date services to support the traveller experience, including:

Flight information
Airline contact details
Public transport travel information
An AA route planner
Interactive terminal maps
Country, city and overseas airport guides
Shopping information

The websites provide tailored information on the range of airport facilities available for all traveller groups, including families, travellers with special needs and business executives. They also allow access to booking facilities for car parking, travel insurance, foreign currency, flights, holidays and car rental.
