NIG Network: "As part of NIG�s continuing support of your business we have been working with all software houses to deliver EDI solutions for standard motor business.
By 1st September 2005 we will be live with the following motor products on all major software houses:

Private Car
Commercial Vehicle (vans)
Motorcycle
Insurers are required as part of the Motor Insurance Database (MID) to submit data within prescribed timescales. This can only be achieved if EDI is being used. Therefore, from 1st September 2005, we will no longer accept MANUAL submissions of standard motor new business."
